Kim Swayze

June 9, 1957 — February 19, 2025

Kim Swayze (Warner) 67 passed away peacefully with her loved ones by her side at Methodist Hospital on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025.

Kim was born on June 9th, 1957, to Rita Clement in Rochester, Minnesota. She graduated from Mayo High School in 1975. Kim started dating the love of her life, Warren when she was 14 and he was 17. They later married in 1982, and later were blessed with two wonderful daughters, Krysta and Trisha.

Kim welcomed numerous families and their children with open arms into her loving home throughout her 35 years of being an in-home daycare provider. She took pride in her career. She loved and cared for every child that entered her home like her own. Kim had a deep passion for quilting. Every quilt that was made, was created with love. Baking was another one of Kim's many talents, she never made a bad dessert ever. Her friends were very near and dear to her heart. They've shared many years of trips, get togethers, dinner with the girls and her favorite pass time, bingo. Kim's daughters were her pride and joy, always providing them with support and guidance.

Kim is survived by her mother, Rita; husband, Warren; daughters, Krysta (Gerad) and Trisha; along with many dear friends and family. She is preceded in death by her brothers Bobby and Mike.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, at the VFW in Rochester, MN from 2pm-5pm.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff on Eisenberg 52 and the ICU team on Eisenberg 10-4, especially her amazing nurse Maya.
