Mark Migawa 66, of Menomonie, WI passed away on January 31st, 2025.
Mark was born on June 22, 1958, to Thaddeus and Oreen (Wold) Migawa in Eau Claire, where he was raised. Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping with his father which he passed down to his children. After graduating from Regis Catholic School Mark worked for the Eau Claire parks service and attended CVTC where he studied Welding and Engineering.
Mark raised his three children Chelsea, Emerald, Cole and two stepchildren, Darcie and Flint in Menomonie, WI. He was a devoted father who was proud of his children and family history. Mark enjoyed camping and exploring Lake Superior with his children and had a passion for rock hunting which he shared with his daughter Emerald.
Marks perfect day was one spent outside whether that meant going on a bike ride down to the park or catching a walleye in the Red Cedar River. Mark had a witty sense of humor and was always quick to lighten the mood. He enjoyed watching sports, especially keeping up with the Badgers and Packers along with his local teams. He also spent many hours listening to music and using his creativity to modify and create his own fishing gear. Mark enjoyed cooking all types of unique meals for his family, and during his quiet times he enjoyed reading science, history, and many other types of educational material, as he was a walking collection of jeopardy answers.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Josette and Janelle. Mark is survived by his three children, two stepchildren along with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private service will be held over the weekend for his immediate family.
