Norma Vale passed away Monday, February 17, 2025, at Meadow Lakes Senior Living in Rochester, MN. Norma Jean Bryan was born in Rochester, Minnesota on December 5, 1940, to Frank and Alma (Fenske) Bryan. She graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1958. Attended Rochester Community College, completing a 2-year degree in 1year. Norma was employed at Honeywell from 1959-1960, the University of Minnesota from 1960-1965, the University of Maryland from 1965-1972, and in 1972, she started at the Mayo Clinic/ Rochester School of Health Sciences and retired from there in 2000.
Norma was united in marriage to Gordon Vale on February 9, 1973. They enjoyed traveling and had many enjoyable times with family and friends, whether it be attending concerts, sporting events, or the casino.
Norma is survived by her sisters, Phyllis Nelson, of Eyota and Eileen (Glenn) Andrist, of Alexandria, MN; six nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordy; her brother Frank "Butch" Bryan.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Maxon Family Cremation & Life Celebrations with an hour of visitation prior. Inurnment will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester, at a later date.
