Roger Swanson

Roger Jerome Swanson, aged 86, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025, in Rochester, MN. Born on July 2, 1939. Roger was known for his dedication and service, both in his professional life and in the Air Force.

Roger spent his career at Troxal Dental Studio and later at the Mayo Clinic, where he was respected for his meticulous work and commitment. His military service in the Air Force was marked by a disciplined dedication, contributing significantly to his character and values.

An avid sports enthusiast, Roger enjoyed watching baseball, hockey, and playing golf. These activities were a major part of his leisure time, providing him not just with relaxation but also with joyous moments shared with friends and family.

Roger was preceded in death by his twin brother Richard and his older brother David. He is survived by his sons, Eric and Kevin Swanson, and his daughter, Melissa Swanson. His family remembers him as a steadfast and loving figure, whose guidance and affection will be deeply missed.

Roger's life was one of service, commitment, and love for his family and country. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
